Funk Agrees To XPW Reunion Show!

TERRY FUNK RETURNS! LIVING LEGEND ADDED TO XPW COLD DAY IN HELL SUPERSHOW!

Terry
Funk, who headlined both the biggest West Coast (Go Funk Yourself, July
2000) and East Coast (Hostile Takeover, August 2002) shows in XPW
history, will return to XPW with dozens of other former XPW stars one
night only for XPW's Cold Day In Hell!

Funk will appear at both the Fan Fest and Cold Day In Hell show.

At
Fan Fest, fans will be able to meet the former NWA and ECW World
Champion in person, grab an autograph, and ask the Funker questions.

What will his role be as part of the Cold Day In Hell show itself? Neither Terry nor XPW officials have revealed that yet!

Konnan's lawsuit against TNA Wrestling

To follow up an earlier report regarding Konnan filing a lawsuit
against TNA Wrestling, a report by The Wrestling Observer has provided
some additional details.

According to the report, Konnan's
lawsuit is claiming racial discrimination, drug usage among top
executives in the company and issues with medical operations that was
discussed earlier. Konnan stated that TNA didn't pay for his hip
replacement surgery nor did they pay for Ron Killing's knee surgery,
but did pay for Scott Steiner's throat surgery.

Final 3/20 TNA Impact rating

PWInsider is reporting that the 3/20 edition of TNA Impact drew a final
1.0 cable rating (or a 1.03 rating). This is down from last week's 1.1
rating (or 1.12 rating to exact).

Booker T welcomed his wife Sharmell back to "iMPACT!", but it didn't go
as the former World Champion planned! Not only was Booker confronted
again by Robert Roode, but TNA Management Director Jim Cornette
announced it will be Booker T and Sharmell taking on Robert Roode and
Payton Banks in a mixed tag team match at Lockdown in the Six Sides Of
Steel!

- Scott Steiner and Petey Williams defeated Kaz and Eric
Young in tag team action after Eric was once again scared by the
appearance of Black Reign and Rellik. After the bout, Steiner continued
his mysterious "initiation" of Williams.

- A sitdown took place
between Christian Cage and Rhino as Cage attempted to make peace with
Rhino. Later, Rhino faced Tomko - and Cage came to Rhino's aid when AJ
Styles attacked. However, Team 3D also helped Tomko and Styles, leading
to Cornette announcing Team 3D vs. Cage and Rhino later that night.

- More footage aired of Jay Lethal on his date with SoCal Val

- In the Lockdown Xscape Match qualifier, "The Guru" Sonjay Dutt defeated Homicide of the LAX

-
AJ Styles announced he had brought a special guest to "iMPACT!" - and
it turned out to be Karen Angle! Karen watched on from ringside as AJ
battled Booker T, but after a brawl involving Sharmell and Payton
Banks, AJ was dejected to find out Karen had left!

- The team of Gail Kim and ODB defeated Angelina Love and Velvet Sky

-
TNA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle help a public training
session, destroying his opponents in the process as he prepares for his
upcoming Lockdown World Title match against Samoa Joe.

- In the
main event of the broadcast, Cage and Rhino vs. Team 3D was ruled a
no-contest after AJ, Tomko and Team 3D got involved. However, the big
news was that after the brawl, Sting's music hit - signaling the return
of the icon to TNA Wrestling!

BILOXI,
Miss. � They say strange things happen on the night of a full moon. But
it didn�t take lunar activity, just the onset of WrestleMania XXIV for
wild things to take place on Friday Night SmackDown. A Deadman, a Big
Red Monster, an Animal, a Silverback, two 7-foot giants and a Rated-R
Superstar were on the prowl, looking to vanquish their opponents on The
Road to WrestleMania.

MVP�s VIP Lounge

For the first time in
almost six years, Raw�s Chris Jericho paid a visit to the land of
SmackDown as a guest on U.S. Champion MVP�s VIP Lounge. The two Money
in the Bank Ladder Match opponents traded verbal barbs, including
Jericho poking fun at alternative names for MVP. The self-proclaimed
highest paid entertainer tried to elevate himself with a lot of tough
talk, but Jericho literally brought him back down to earth when he
knocked the United States Champion from atop a ladder in the ring. Is
this symbolic of what we�re going to see when the two meet in just nine
days at WrestleMania?

One Punch KO

For yet another week, Big
Show crushed those foolish enough to step into the ring with the angry,
dominant giant. This week, it was three competitors who fell victim to
the 7-footer. Big Show made quick work of the trio, finishing off the
least fortunate with a powerful knock-out blow, followed by an easy
pin. As the WrestleMania showdown between Big Show and Floyd Mayweather
draws near, the risk for the boxing champion appears to increase with
each passing week.

Rampaging Animal

The look in Batista�s
eyes on SmackDown told the story: You don�t want to get in his way �
not now, not when The Granddaddy of Them All is just nine days away.
Deuce & Domino found this out the hard way, as The Animal went on
the offensive right from the start of their 2-on-1 Handicap Match.
Despite their two-man advantage, the former WWE Tag Team Champions were
no match for their opponent, who Batista Bombed Domino for a decisive
win. The Animal appears to be right on form to face Umaga in their Raw
vs. SmackDown battle for brand supremacy at WrestleMania.

Tag Titles Intact

Earlier
in the week on ECW, things looked promising for the Biscuits �n� Gravy
team when Festus pinned The Miz in a Six-Man Tag Match. But with the
WWE Tag Team Titles on the line on Friday Night SmackDown, this time it
was The Miz who pinned Jesse. The Shaman of Sexy must be content with
keeping tag team gold in place, but will be looking for future gold if
he can succeed in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Also on SmackDown

Just
when you thought you were watching two of SmackDown�s biggest men do
battle � Kane and Chuck Palumbo � The Great Khali made his way into the
arena and made the encounter that much bigger. Khali went right for
Kane and delivered a Khali Bomb, ending the match without a victor.

But,
the parade of big men wasn�t over, as the World�s Strongest Man Mark
Henry came into the arena to make his mark. The self-proclaimed
Silverback went on a path of destruction, first lifting and slamming
the 400-pound Punjabi giant, then laying waste to Palumbo with a
massive avalanche, and finally lifting and slamming Kane to the canvas.
The four will meet again in the WrestleMania 24-Man Battle Royal. Will
Henry be able to repeat this display of dominance, or will one of
SmackDown�s big men deliver some payback on The Grandest Stage of Them
All?

Although compared to the likes of Khali and Henry, the
competitors were smaller in stature, but the animosity was just a
fierce when the SmackDown Diva Contest continued on Friday. In an Arm
Wrestling Competition, Michelle McCool took first place yet again this
week. Then, SmackDown Assistant General Manager Theodore Long delivered
the bad news to Victoria fans that she was eliminated from the
competition, according to your votes. Next week, the Divas continue to
battle it out, hoping to win the custom Beverly Hills Chopper. More on
this competition�

Harmful melody

When World Heavyweight
Champion Edge defeated Funaki, he �borrowed� some of Undertaker�s
signature moves by mocking the Phenom�s RIP gesture and using the
Tombstone Piledriver to dismantle his opponent. After the champion�s
easy win, he grabbed the ring mic and let it be known: �Tonight, I step
up to a whole new level.�

Later in the night, the Ultimate
Opportunist delivered on his promise. Though Undertaker defeated ECW
Champion Chavo Guerrero using his blood-drawing submission move, Edge,
Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder launched a steel-chair attack on The
Phenom. In an ugly display, the Rated-R entourage relentlessly pummeled
an outnumbered Undertaker, with the champion ultimately knocking out
his WrestleMania opponent with a brutal Con-Chair-To.

Angle Fighting Couture, Lashley To TNA, Huge Change

In an audio interview with the Between the Ropes
radio show, Kurt Angle had a lot to say about Bobby Lashley's future,
major changes coming to TNA starting next month and fighting Randy Couture in an MMA style match this summer. Here are the highlights:

-- When asked about the possibility of Bobby Lashley coming to TNA, Kurt said, �I�m
not going to say anything, but be ready for anything. Be ready for a
big surprise... Whatever he does, it�s going to make big press. Let�s
just that I�m really excited about the direction that Bobby Lashley is
going.�

-- He and Samoa Joe will have a mixed martial arts match at the Lockdown pay-per-view. �We�re going to have an MMA style match at the pay-per-view and this is the beginning of what TNA is going to start doing.�

-- He added, �Joe and I are actually putting a hell of a a match
together that is going to be very much MMA oriented. It�s going to be
inside a cage. I don�t even think we�re wearing shoes. We�re going to
tape our ankles. We�re going to be putting on the gloves.� He said he and Joe are trying to show up the Floyd Mayweather vs. Big Show match.

-- Angle said he and Randy Couture have agreed to fight in a legit
MMA-style match this summer. He didn't specify which promotion they'll
work for or what type of match they're going to have.

'Tis the season...for WrestleMania

BILOXI,
Miss. � The Land of the Extreme was in full-force WrestleMania mode in
this super-competitive sports-entertainment season as ECW Champion
Chavo Guerrero and the rest of the roster tried to set the stage for
The Granddaddy of Them All.

Three of the Superstars who will be
competing in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania XXIV
faced off in the midst of a Six-Man Tag Team Match, hoping to gain an
early advantage. CM Punk seemed a bit concerned in the locker room
before the contest, as he observed his dazed partner, Festus. But his
other associate for the night, Jesse, assured the Straightedge
Superstar he wouldn�t be disappointed once the bell rang. He was right,
as the three Superstars overpowered The Miz and two other Money in the
Bank contestants, John Morrison & Shelton Benjamin. The win also
helped to fuel Jesse & Festus, as the duo is primed to defeat
Morrison & The Miz on SmackDown and become WWE Tag Team Champions.

Earlier,
the evening kicked off on fire � literally. Kane exploded into the ring
where he extinguished Elijah Burke. The Big Red Machine will no doubt
be one of the favorites to win the brand-wide 24-Man Battle Royal at
�Mania. While he certainly has a size advantage over most, he is not
the biggest Superstar in the massive, over-the-top rope contest. Matt
Striker has already promised that Big Daddy V will shake the foundation
of the Florida Citrus Bowl. The Great Khali is sure to make some waves
as well. There is really only one word that fittingly describes this
destructive clash of titans: Humongous.

Later in the night, Kofi
Kingston cruised to another victory on ECW on Sci Fi. The first-ever
Jamaican Superstar has yet to be defeated since joining the extreme
brand. Tuesday was just another part of the chapter as his unique style
and attitude helped him to pin James Curtis. Might Kofi find himself in
the 24-Superstar mix at WrestleMania?

While Kingston celebrated
on ECW, the �Mexican Warrior� was preparing with WrestleMania on his
mind. The ECW Champion capped off the evening by taking pleasure in
defeating Colin Delaney in what Guerrero called a preview of what�s to
come at WrestleMania. Delaney was denied an ECW contract in the loss
and Guerrero was able to make a very loud statement, warning all other
competitors in contention to challenge him in a title match later that
evening at WrestleMania.

former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler has a sitcom development deal with ABC.
"I retired from wrestling to focus on acting," Stacy said. "I have an
ABC sitcom development deal�which is perfect, because I have a silly
personality and love to make people laugh."

The Future Of The Curry Man Gimmick, TNA Ecstatic

TNA officials remain impressed with how over the Curry Man gimmick is
with the fans. While Christopher Daniels has always been respected for
his ring work, this latest push is because of the reception that the
Curry Man gimmick has received. Everyone in TNA knew of the success
that the gimmick has had internationally but there were obvious
questions of how it would be received in TNA Wrestling. The original
idea was to let Daniels bring the Curry Man gimmick to the company to
play off of the "fired" storyline and bring him back later on down the
road. However, given the recent success of the angle, it is likely that
Daniels will work as Curry Man for the foreseeable future.

There
were a lot of people inside TNA talking about the success of their
house show this past Friday at the Eastern Kentucky Expo Center in
Pikeville, Kentucky. Company officials were said to be ecstatic at the
amount of people that the show drew which was said to be in excess of
6,000. Given the amount of people that the company drew in the city,
they will definitely return in the future, as there is a real
possibility that they will hold a pay-per-view in Pikeville.

TNA
has another mid-week house show tour scheduled for this week. The
company will run in Springfield, Missouri on Wednesday, in Evansville,
Indiana on Thursday, and in St. Louis, Missouri on Friday. The company
is advertising the following card for the shows:

Candice Michelle possibly reinjures herself on Raw

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Candice Michelle was sent to
the hospital after the Monday Night Raw taping in Lafayette, LA after
complaining of an injured left cavicle following her tag team match.

Michelle
was sent in for X-rays for the same injury that she suffered back in
October in a match on Raw against Beth Phoenix landing badly off the
top rope. Michelle said the following regarding the injury in an
article on WWE.com: "Injury or not, I am not going to let this [injury]
ruin my plans to win the BunnyMania Match at WrestleMania. I still plan
on being a part of WrestleMania in Orlando."

The opening pyro hit and here we go.

Chris
Jericho is in the ring and he�s got his first guest, the
Intercontinental Championship. The second guest is the Big Show. He
thanked Show for giving us a clip that didn�t involve Mayweather using
his face as a pi�ata. He showed highlights from last week and Show said
it re-enforced the fact that no one likes Floyd Mayweather. His peers
don�t like him, the guys in the back don�t like him and the fans sure
don�t like him.

He said Jericho wouldn�t last in the ring two
seconds and he wondered why that made Mayweather think he has a shot.
Jericho went a little creepy and started getting in Show�s face. Show
said Jericho needed to cool down. He said he didn�t think Jericho was
as bad as Mayweather would be, he was just the WWE equivalent. He was
loud, obnoxious, etc. He also said Jericho was in over his head. He
challenged Jericho to an IC title match later tonight and sure enough,
we�ve got it.

Mr. McMahon is in the back and he�s talking about
himself and it�s glorious. Well he says nothing could top everything
this week, his name on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, WWE stock going up
and his 700 pound squat. He said except being a McMahon on St.
Patrick�s Day. He said he wanted to do something special and tonight�
he�d end Ric Flair�s career. In a street fight.

CM Punk v. Carlito

The
two locked horns and grappled around for a little bit and we�ve got a
stalemate. Punk hit a back kick and well, another series of kicks
before Carlito finally avoided one and was able to dump Punk to the
outside of the ring.

Carlito caught him coming back in and
floored him with a right hand before slamming him headfirst into the
turnbuckles. Punk turned the tide briefly but got caught with a kick as
his head stuck through the ropes. Carlito slapped on a bow and arrow
and we�re at a good old rest hold.

Punk fought back and almost
grabbed a roll up, but Carlito responded with a hand spring elbow off
the kick out for a two count. Carlito went back to a chin lock, trying
to wear Punk down. He dropped a few elbows on Punk�s head to maintain
control, but once the crowd got into it, Punk was able to fight to his
feet.

Punk countered out of the hold and immediately hit a knee
in the corner and rushed out with Carlito�s head in toe for a bulldog
to get a two count. Punk ate a drop kick on the springboard lariat, but
wasn�t able to connect with a back cracker. Punk went for Go 2 Sleep,
but Carlito countered out with a nifty swinging neck breaker for a
great near fall.

Carlito went for another springboard move but Punk caught him in mid air and killed him with Go 2 Sleep for the win.

Winner: CM Punk via pin fall

Snoop
Dog is in the back and he�s a master of ceremonies at Bunny Mania. He
reads a really badly scripted few lines before he stops and says these
cue cards are ridiculous. Santino Marella comes out of course and calls
Snoop Dog �Snoopy the Dog�. Really who cares about anything else.

Raw Gm William Regal calls Umaga out to the ring for a fight against both Paul London & Brian Kendrick.

Oh
this is just beautiful. No one bumps and dies more spectacularly than
London and Kendrick. Really play by play is dumb for this, so I offer
glorious highlights:

1. Double Samoan Drop

2. Head smash. No two of them.

3. London tossed by his hair in air and spiked.

Winner and Still the best thing to happen since Sliced Bread and Garbage Pail kids: Umaga by a lot

BTW, Brian Kendrick just walked out on Paul London. So sinister.

William
Regal and Triple H are in the back gleefully putting over the
stipulations for the Orton/Cena v. Everyone match. If Cena runs, he�s
out of the match at Wrestlemania. If Orton runs, he�s going to be
stripped of the belt. Regal tries to prevent it from happening, asking
Triple H why he just doesn�t strip the title from Orton. Triple H said
he had been awarded titles before. It wasn�t satisfying. Instead, he
was going to win it on the biggest stage of them all.

A
pretty hilarious of Vince McMahon being immortalized on the Hollywood
Walk of Fame aired. In case you�re wondering, he�s right next to Kermit
the Frog.

Shawn Michaels is watching everything on TV. Ric Flair
shows up and tells him to leave. Flair says he doesn�t need his help or
his sympathy. He said he didn�t want to see Michaels until Wrestlemania.

JBL
came out to the ring. He said it was St. Patty�s day and he was ready
to do something for the Irish, who made him a lot of money. He said
tonight, for Finlay, he�d be challenging the second toughest guy in
Ireland, Colin Delany. Good lord this�ll be godly.

goaded Delaney to hit him and Colin obliged. JBL cold cocked him in
short order and freaking killed him with a clubbing shot to the back.
JBL hit his big boot and short clothesline. He hit a second on before
taunting the youngster a bit.

JBL wound up and took Delaney�s head off with a clothesline from hell and that�s all she wrote.

JBL
said if Finlay thought he had a chance, he needed to listen to what his
grandparents said to Finlay�s ancestors. They came to them looking for

Ric Flair v. Vince McMahon

We
get some old man �put up your dukes� posing at first and then some
nasty punches from both and McMahon even covers up like he�s in one.
Flair knocks him out of the ring and now Flair�s all over McMahon on
top of the announce table. Flair is just potato-ing Flair with right
hands before dumping him over the guard rail and into the stands.

Flair
shows off Vince for some fans and then whoops his ass back over the
guardrail and back into the ring side area. Flair charged McMahon, but
Vince avoided him and Flair cracked into the ring post. Vince is pissed
and he�s setting up the ring table for something sinister. But no! He�s
got the monitor and he takes it and smashes Flair right in the mug with
it.

Flair�s bleeding. In other news, the sun came up today.
Vince goes right at Flair and hammers away at his wound against the
guard rail before tossing him in the ring for a two count. Vince
reigned some more blows down on Flair�s face and yet again, gets a two
count.

Vince figures this isn�t going to work so he�s going
shopping underneath the ring. He pulls out the awesomely fake trash can
and kills Flair with it for a WICKED close near fall. Vince smashes
Flair�s face with his fists some more and went back to the outside to
find more toys for tots.

McMahon grabbed a kendo stick and he�s
got that masturbatory look on his face and starts cracking Flair in the
back with it. Two more shots across Flair�s head but still, Flair
refuses to go down.

McMahon goes out for a third time and he�s
got the old, reliable steel chair. He PLOWED Flair�s head with a chair
shot and went for the cover, but HBK popped up and pulled the official
out of the ring. HBK got expelled to the back before we get a glimpse
of Vince.

He�s going back to the outside for a fourth time. And
he�s got a table. Vince went to gather Flair but got smashed in the
nuts twice. Flair plopped Vince on the table and pounded his skull
some. FLAIR ON THE TOP ROPE. That was the most gloriously awful splash
ever, and Flair SHOULD HAVE an awful splash. Naitch wins.

Candice & Maria v. Jillian Hall & Victoria

Jillian�s theme song f-ing kills me. It�s almost as awesome as.. Santino Marella on commentary.

Maria
and Jillian are starting us off. Jillian hit a knee to the gut and her
hand spring elbow before Victoria tagged in and began tossing Maria
around like a pound of meat. Victoria went for her standing moonsault
but Maria got the knees up. An enzeguiri later, Candice is tagged in
and she�s cleaning everyone out.

Candice hit a great sit out
slam and some wheel kicks. Her flurry kept it coming until Victoria
caught her and laid her out with a back breaker. Jillian tagged in and
went for the 450, but missed by a mile. Candice cleared out and hit the
un-prettier. Wow, nice to see that dusted off.

Winners: Maria & Candice via pin fall

Santino
poured beer on Lawler�s face before stealing his Subway sandwich. That
calls for a match at Wrestlemania if I ever saw a reason, to, uh, have
a match at Wrestlemania.

Mayweather has a video putting him over. Good stuff.

Chris Jericho v. Big Show

Show
quickly caught Jericho with a big boot and began working him over in
the corner. He hit a knee to Jericho�s gut. Jericho hit a jaw breaker
and knocked Show the the floor but got caught by Show and flung into
the barricade.

Show went for a Vader bomb and missed clean.
Jericho came firing back with some punches and managed to hit a code
breaker, but it didn�t so much as phase Show. Jericho eventually got
frustrated and grabbed his title belt and slammed it into the skull of
Big Show to get himself DQ�d.

Winner: Big Show via DQ

After the match Big Show hit Jericho with his freaking mallet of a right hand. Jericho�s out.

Kim Kardashian showed up. She met Big Dick Johnson and apparently is our �host� for Wrestlemania.

A Randy Orton kills the world video aired. Awesome.

Randy
Orton�s in the back with John Cena. Cena said they�d whoop everyone
tonight no matter how much it might hurt. Orton told him to hold up and
said Triple H probably wanted them to get hurt, but they should just
lay down and avoid getting hurt. Cena said that was actually a good
idea. The two couldn�t agree on who�d take the loss. Cena then said
they�d have to man up and there was no way he�d take a loss to help the
guy that injured him, stole his title and kicked his father in the
head. He said there only chance was to fight. Triple H showed up and
reminded both that they had �no chance�.

John Cena & Randy Orton v. The Raw Roster

This
is a hilarious spectacle. Snitsky starts the fun and kills Cena with a
boot and a body slam before Santino tags himself in. Cena quickly
rolled him up and that�s one down.

Murdoch tagged into the match
and after some clubbering and a save from Orton, Cena was able to slap
the STFU on and get him to submit. Cade didn�t like it and came in only
to eat an RKO and he�s done.

Umaga came running in and hit a double clothesline on both Orton and Cena. He�s killing them as we got to commercial.

Over the break, Super Crazy was eliminated with an RKO.

JBL
hammered Orton around and holy crap this rules. JBL tagged Duggan.
Awesome. Cody tagged in and got some licks in before Burchall tagged
in. Everyone�s getting shots in including Val Venis (whose being
cheered by Snitsky), Carlito, Hardcore Holly, Robbie� Orton catches him
with an inverted back breaker and tags Cena who comes swooping off the
top rope with a leg drop for the pin.

Harry Smith ate an
inverted power bomb and a five knuckle shuffle. Before you know it the
rookie eats and FU and he�s gone. Orton pops up out of nowhere and hits
an RKO. Val Venis and Birchall are down and these two are just having a
field day. Orton-Cena teamwork and the crowd�s going.

The Raw
roster jumped into the ring and now they�re beating down on the
champion and the challenger. The wrestlers began beating Orton down
before Cena retrieved a chair from ringside and began cleaning em out.

He
didn�t see Umaga though who peppered him with an upper cut while JBL
decapitated Orton with a clothesline from hell. JBL hit Umaga
accidentally with the chair and it made Umaga mad enough to just spike
Orton and chase JBL out of the arena.

As the ring cleared, Triple H�s music hit. He came down, hit dueling pedigrees on Cena and Orton, and posed with the belt.
